This one-of-a-kind miniature quilt is an original design created from a vintage linen dinner placemat corner layered over a vintage yellow-gold silk scarf. The flowing feathered quilting is free-motion stitched and enhanced with my own hand-dyeing technique, giving the surface a softly luminous depth.
The reverse features a modern Robert Kaufman cotton with gold foil detailing, framing a vintage eyelet doily label. The label is hand-secured with pearl beads sourced from a vintage faux-pearl rope necklace.
Designed as a small textile artwork, this piece may be framed or displayed on a stand. An acrylic display stand is included.
