Vintage Pincushion- Purple Rose Doily

This one-of-a-kind heirloom pincushion was created as a functional keepsake, blending fine needlework, free-motion quilting, and vintage textiles into a single, lasting piece.

The focal point is a vintage embroidered hexagon rose, accented with needle lace embroidery and Miyuki AB seed beads. It is set atop a vintage doily with tatted lace, further embellished with vintage faux pearls and seed beads.

The front is constructed from vintage fabric, while the back combines vintage feed sack and vintage linen.

The pincushion is filled with crushed walnut shells for weight and stability.

Measures approximately 5¼″ × 5½″. Finished with my personal label.
