Vintage Pincushion- Red Flowers

This one-of-a-kind heirloom pincushion was created as a functional keepsake.

The front has been custom quilted and is made from a vintage embroidered table runner, featuring a field of hand-stitched flowers that has been further embellished with Miyuki seed beads. The embroidery is framed by vintage feed sack strips, and finished with a vintage trim accented with faux pearls.

The back side is made from a vintage handkerchief and has been free-motion quilted.

The pincushion is filled with crushed walnut shells for weight and stability.

Measures approximately 6″ × 6″. Finished with my personal label.
